Looking back on 2019

In December 2019, "Ginza Kabukiza" started selling kimono accessories such as obidome at the actual store.

Items include obidome made of large tempered glass, obidome combined with round black and white pearl oysters, large rings and stole pins.
I mainly make earrings and pierced earrings, so I learned a lot.
In particular, obidome is worn on top of the obi, so I would like to continue studying how to use it as an item that makes the obi stand out even more.

At the beginning of 2019, when we exhibited obidome for one day at IMS in Tenjin, Fukuoka City, we received a recommendation from a customer who would like to make a kimono from overseas antique fabrics. I was making a prototype because of this, but I had the opportunity to see it at a real store for the first time.

By exhibiting at Kabukiza this time, I was able to verify the details of the production process, such as "It seems better to change it slightly from the earrings and add one more process here."

This year I participated in an exhibition for the first time and received a lot of inspiration, so I have a lot of things I want to do next year! It's a whole lot.

For the time being, I would like to apply this new year's holiday to the input time. I would like to proceed with light footwork so that I can give shape to what I want to do.

We look forward to your continued support of cuff-if next year.
