What if I were a tiny insect hiding on a leaf? Or perhaps, looking through the eyes of "that day" when I stared at the water's surface, forgetting time. Time flows differently there, on a scale unlike that of humans.

Even a droplet that should burst in an instant transforms slowly like a giant lens in this close-up view, wavering against gravity. Giving shape to that ephemeral texture captured from the "perspective of small life."

[ Metamorphosis of Water and Life ]

Another motif is the night water lily and the world continuing to its depths. The pond in this "Observation Lab" connects to the deep sea.

A droplet that has absorbed the colors of the water lily hits the water surface with a plop. In that moment, the droplet sinks while wearing those colors, metamorphosing into a luminous jellyfish drifting at the bottom, and melding together.

Plants and marine life mingling as a single life activity. It is a "boundaryless biotope" seen in illustrated reference books and imagination during childhood.
