At cuff-if, we also pursue a "light and comfortable wearing experience," focusing on lightweight materials and details such as fittings and earring catches to ensure a "light and comfortable wearing experience."
Since the designer of cuff-if has a metal allergy, we are eliminating typical materials that are prone to causing metal allergies and advancing product development. In particular, "nickel" is strictly excluded.
All fittings for ear accessories (earrings and piercings) are common.

For Those Concerned About Metal Allergies with Piercings
At cuff-if, we use medical-grade stainless steel (SUS316L) for all piercings, so we believe the risk of metal allergies is significantly reduced. However, if you wish to change the piercing post or catch to titanium, silver 925, or 18K gold, we would like to accommodate your request as much as possible. Please feel free to consult with us.
Interchangeable Ear Cuffs/Interchangeable Double Rings (Common)
The original interchangeable ear cuffs and interchangeable double rings from cuff-if are made of silver 925. The silver color is the natural color of silver 925. The gold color is silver 925 coated with 24K gold (pure gold) thicker than usual (also known as thick plating).
Silver 999 (pure silver) is soft and not suitable for jewelry processing, which is why silver 925 jewelry is popular. Silver 925 refers to a material that contains about 7.5% alloy in silver 999. There are silver 925 products on the market that use nickel as the alloy, but since nickel is a typical metal that is prone to causing metal allergies, we do not use nickel.
Silver products are said to be one of the representative materials that are less likely to cause metal allergies. If you have experienced allergic reactions to silver products, it is possible that the product contained nickel as the alloy. We strongly recommend choosing silver products that do not use nickel as the alloy.

About the Resin
The original "imaginary stone" from cuff-if. While petroleum-derived resins are generally mainstream, cuff-if uses high-quality plant-derived resins that are less harmful to the human body and environmentally friendly, reducing environmental impact during production and disposal, and produces each piece individually.
This resin (epoxy) is a high-quality material with high transparency, similar to glass. Its refractive index is almost equivalent to that of glass.
About Jesmonite
Jesmonite (JESMONITE®) is mainly used in the production of Homeware. It is a water-based resin that contains no organic solvents or VOCs, and is known as a three-dimensional molding material that is less harmful to the human body and environmentally friendly, unlike traditional petroleum-derived resins.
